I went out to count calves last night, because we are in the middle of calving right now and I stopped to check on the puppies before I came in. A head count for them twice a day in necessary to be sure that no one has climbed into a chicken food trough. I guess these pups will be more than ready to protect any chickens they meet, since they’re being raised by some awesome mamas. This makes me smile. Big time. XO.
